ABOUT ME

I am an American traveller. Over all, I am quiet natured. I don't smoke or do drugs, and I very rarely drink. I'm talkative and have a huge sweet tooth!

PHILOSOPHY

Here are some thoughts I try to live my life by:

Always do the thing that scares you the most. It's often the most important.

Give off positive energy. It will attract more back to you.

I just trying to make my time in Australia last as long as I can with the little money I have. Couch surfing makes that possible!

Interests

My career is wildlife rehabilitation so my goal in Australia is to see as many native animals that I can. I love anything involving nature and general sightseeing. I watch too much tv, love to cook, and spend a lot of time reading non-fiction books.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in entertainment seems all over the place. I listen, read, watch everything with an open mind to it, which leads to some odd combinations on my ipod.

Movies: I love comedy and drama more than anything. My favs are The Princess Bride and Interview with the Vampire.

Music: Can never get enough Nickel Creek or AFI. Love country, hard rock, and doo-wop music the most.

Books: In college there were many textbooks that I didn't need to buy since I already owned them to read for fun. I'm kinda a book nerd. Don't really have favorites though. Tend to stick with animal non-fiction, travel non-fiction, and teen fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently went cage diving with six foot sharks off the shores of O'ahu (Hawaii Islands). That completely changed my perspective of oceans.
