Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To bring back beautiful photos and stories for my one-year-old daughter.
ABOUT ME
I was introduced to couch surfing when I took the next 2 months after graduating from college in Arizona to drive across the country with a close friend. I moved back to the San Francisco Bay Area, where I grew up, met my wife of 7 years, and now work in photography for a fashion startup.
PHILOSOPHY
I am an agnostic and believe in the power of knowledge in the hands of many. Writing is becoming increasingly important to me and is how I learn - it's something that I'd like to reconnect with, as I've used most of my brain for photography in the last few years.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love to share skills like photography, cooking, baking, or bicycle repair when I stay or host. The project's a really neat way to get in touch with like-minded people, and I admire the way this has come together.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I only hosted once :(. But the surfer was really cool, she knew everything about naturopathic medicine and was really great to talk to!
I shared space with many kind people on my recent cross-country trip, and I'm looking forward to hosting someday in San Francisco. Roommates have been hard to convince in the past (and I've tried). If you have any suggestions about this, please let me know!

Movies: The Fountain, The Life of David Gale, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, Basquiat, others...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've stretched out along the diving board at Half Dome in Yosemite.
