Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I love my home town, but I also enjoying traveling and seeing new places. I work at a University in Philadelphia in Student Affairs, and I recently graduated with a Master's degree in Arts Administration. I seek to foster the arts, culture, and creativity in my communities.
I enjoy cooking, baking, reading, singing, biking, discovering new music, and exploring new places - both at home and abroad!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I created an account a few years ago, but haven't had the chance to couch surf yet. Meeting and connecting with locals is one of my favorite parts of traveling, and couchsurfing will help me do this!
Interests
art history, classics, museums. I love trying new foods, traveling, and seeing new things. I enjoy biking around my city, and I think it is one of the best ways to get to know a new place. I'm trying to own less and do more.

Music, Movies, and Books
I pretty much like all music (except for modern country). Some of my favorite musicians bands are Radiohead, Janelle Monae, Lizzo, Dr. Dog, Andrew Bird, Lucius, St. Vincent, the White Stripes, and so many more! Anything with interesting lyrics, good vocals, and something unique :)
I've been in school for the past few years, so I haven't had much time to read for pleasure recently. But some of my favorite books are the Handmaid's Tale, a Man Called Ove, The Great Gatsby, The Book Thief, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, A Wild Sheep Chase, Midnight's Children, and Love in the Time of Cholera.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- worked on an archaeological dig in Tuscany
- watched the sunset in Oia, Santorini
- climbed to the top of Mount Vesuvius
- had a snowball fight in a roman amphitheater
- visited Mont-Saint-Michel in Normandy
Any hopefully many more to come!
