ABOUT ME

I'm 20 years old, and keen on experiencing as much as I can get my hands on. Not for the sake of being able to cross it off a list, but moreso because each new experience adds an element of understanding and meaning to my life. When I'm not studying at the University of Calgary (so most of the time) I take advantage of the time around classes to climb in the nearby Canadian Rockies, to skydive, to set up slacklines in the most creative places imaginable, and to fill the time of day with as many memorable moments as possible.

For the time being I am traveling, and will be in Ecuador and Peru for most of July and August. Hoping to immerse myself in Spanish and get as much practice as I can. I plan on hiking lots, seeing the Galapagos and Rainforests, and hitchhiking my way down through the country into Peru, where I will finish the trip along the Inca Trail.

My big thing is all about dreaming big, and then committing to these dreams and seeing that they become realized. These three words are the essence of who I am.

Music, Movies, and Books

Reading everything that I can get my hands on. It's the best way to pass twelve hour bus rides and long flights. Recent authors include C.S. Lewis, Carl Sagan, Richard Dawkins, Michael Crichton, David Sedaris and Patrick Rothfuss.

Piano is my greatest passion. I love playing, writing, jamming with other people and listening.
