About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Bring up my daughter!

ABOUT ME

I live in the mountains of Japan with my wife and daughter. I run a ski lodge in winter and hang out/go travelling/farm organic vegetables in the summer.

I'm outgoing, easy going and open minded.

PHILOSOPHY

When I was young I used to think hedonism was the only answer for happiness and satisfaction in life. Now I realise that there are many ways for fulfillment including family, improving your corner of the world, learning from people of all walks of life and ...of course..hedonism!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have joined only recently after having heard good things from friends. I have travelled a lot over the years but am definitely more interested in getting the "inside scoop" on a place and meeting locals than just seeing the sights. couch surfer sounds good for that! I'm also in the hospitality trade so love showing people the secrets in my little patch of the world
