About Me
Hi,
I’m 22 and originally from a small town in the German countryside. After finishing school, I moved to Groningen in the Netherlands to study Computing Science because I wanted to experience an international environment and get out of my comfort zone. Now I’ve returned to Bamberg, where I’m working with colleagues to build up our own office in financial consulting.
Sports have always been a big part of my life — I played volleyball for many years, and these days I’m getting more into combat sports like kickboxing and maybe even wrestling. I’m an active, curious person who enjoys hanging out with friends, meeting new people, and sharing good conversations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For a long time I honestly thought “couchsurfing” was just an expression for crashing at someone’s place — I didn’t know there was a whole platform and community behind it! When I discovered it, I was really amazed.
I love the idea of traveling in a way that goes beyond hotels and tourist attractions. For me, Couchsurfing is about getting to know local people, understanding their culture and lifestyle, and experiencing places more authentically. I also like the idea of giving back by hosting travelers, organizing events, and creating connections. I enjoy having people around me, so this feels like the perfect way to meet new friends while exploring the world.
I am really glad I found this platform and I am really looking forward to my first experiences doing couchsurfing ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: A lot of rap in the youth, later transformed into a techno viking. I kinda like a lot of music tho
Movies: Schindler´s List, LOTR
Books: Gulag Archipelago (kind of heavy to read, but so intense to hear all the stories/facts about these times)
I also really like fantasy books (Eragon), but I am not reading too much anymore
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
First techno rave I have been to in Hamburg Feldbunker with a good friend of mine. No sleep, took the train back and forth, right after lockdown ended due to covid.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I bring good energy and I’m easy to hang out with — always up for a chat, a laugh, or doing some sports together. I’d love to share a bit about life in Germany and the Netherlands, and I’m just happy to connect and spend time with people.
