ABOUT ME

My kids are off at college or Traveling (currently in New Zealand)so I have some empty bedrooms! I don't have any pets currently but that usually changes due to fostering needs for rescue dogs.I have traveled quite a
bit and am saving to do some more.I work with children and at times do respite with people with special needs. I enjoy meeting people, and love to learn new things about places I've never been, it'll give me a focus for my next adventure!

I love to cook!! Especially food from my garden! I am totally into localvore and supporting our community. We are getting ready for winter which lasts a long time here so anything that stimulates change is always a plus in the winter months. I like to play in the snow of course, snow shoeing, skiing, walking before, during and after a storm. Bluegrass music and festivals are always fun!! Being around interesting people.

On the tv or cd....i usually fall asleep!! Blues, Bluegrass,rock, alternative,.....usually anything but country.

I went into the Actun Tunichil Muknal - (ATM) cave in Belize and stood next to ancient pottery!!!
I jumped into the dark Andaman Sea and swam with the phosphorescence lighting me up!!
