ABOUT ME

Just started university in one of the most beautiful places in the world - France; to be more precise - Bourgogne, Dijon! I am studying in one of the leading France's school in political science, Sciences Po, in Dijon's campus that is concentrating on Eastern and Central Europe. Originally coming from Lithuania,where I spent all my childhood. I love traveling, I love meeting interesting people and I think I have also some stories to tell! Friends describe me as open-minded, friendly and funny person, and that's what I'm trying to be. My passion is electronic music, techno and festivals, I'm more than a going out person - partying is an integral part of my life.

PHILOSOPHY

I used to be very nervous about all things that are coming up and worrying was my constant condition, but later I just understood that my life is far more valuable to waste it for worries - then I decided to enjoy my life as much as possible, by traveling, enjoying time with my friends and family and studying interesting subjects.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I live in students dorm, so sadly I have no ability to host anyone. But of course, I can show you the most beautiful places of Dijon and hang out with. But keep being updated -next year and in summer in Lithuania - you're more than welcome !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I usually travel alone. I have friends all around the Europe, so mainly I'm staying at their places. But since last November, I became a very close friends with people that I met via couchsurfing. That is why I actually prefer couchsurf than stay at hotels. When I can, I always host people that I find interesting.

Interests

I'm interested in politics, literature, arts.
Not to sound that serious - I love techno music and great parties, underground clubbing and electronic music festivals.
I love delicious (vegetarian) food and wine, and I enjoy long evenings chatting with interesting people.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC
My life right now is Techno and electronic music - Ten Walls, Tale of Us, Maceo Plex, Adam Beyer, Daniel Avery, Nina Kraviz, Boris Brejcha... all the parties, clubs & festivals related to this culture. Already visited bunch of Lithuanian festivals like Supynes, Loftas Fest and Satta outside, and bigger international ones I Love Techno & DGTL festivals, but the summer is coming and I am not planning to stop !

MOVIES
I love Trainspotting ! Also, European and non-commercial cinema. I am also addicted to some TV series like House of Cards and Game of Thrones...

BOOKS
Charles Bukowski, John Irving, Lithuanian literature. However George Orwell's 1984 beats everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to I love Techno festival in Belgium alone. When my plan to meet Australians from couchsurfing did not work, I met amazing locals (also on couchsurfing), we went to ILT together. It goes without saying that is was the best party in my life. Since then I have the best festival and party buddies !

Teach, Learn, Share

I used to know a lot about European affairs and politics, also to history of Eastern Europe and post-soviet countries. Now I am not that impassioned about politics anymore, but it is still interesting to discuss it from time to time.

I love arts, I can share ideas about electronic music and modern art, and that is the thing I want to learn more about.
