About Me

Feel free to write us, we'd love to help you with anything you need in relations to your trip to Aarhus

Ask me about the sights I've been visiting during my travels and I wont be able to tell you much. Ask me about the awesome people I've met and the friendships made, and you'll experience the greatest passion in my eyes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

"Try to surround yourself with your own tribe. People who resonate with you and share the same energy. Learn from them" -Travelcommandment from a 12-years-and-counting world-traveller I met on a bus in Vietnam when I was struggling to find meaning with my travels

Music, Movies, and Books

I read a lot, because then people think i'm very claver. Just kidding I read a lot because I don't have a social life :) Books: primarily non-fiction. Man's Search For Meaning, Animal Farm, Walden, Educated: a memoir, Surely you're joking mr. Feynman, Homo Sapiens/Deus
Favourite Authors: Yuval Noah Harrari, Alain de Button, Malcolm Gladwell, Ernest Hemmingway

Im 19 and I always regreat not being born earlier whenever i listen to the greatest artist from the 80' and 90' :)
Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, led Zeppelin, Queen's, Leonard Cohen
Ac/Dc (2 concerts so far) and Guns'n'Roses awakens an air guitar within me every time

Mumford & Sons and the Lumineers are heavy rotations whenever im travelling

Been volunteering at a music festival for 8 years, where I've attended concerts with Prince, Sting, kendrick lamar, Post Marlone, Martin Garrix, Rihanna, Avicii, David Guetta and many more awesome artists. Travelled to Paris when I was 13 with two friends(and a father) to attend an Eminem concert. Needless to say, im a great big mess of love for all kinds of music, if it sounds good, it sounds good

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

10 Days Vipassana Silent Meditation course

I became so sick of preparations for my final exams, that I decided to ditch studying and instead went on a hitchhiking trip through germany, the netherlands and belgium - And managed to ace my exams through bluff and a great portion of luck

Walked 700km across nothern spain on the Camino De Santiago

Highlights of my 6 months trip in Asia 2019:
- Hitchhiking 500 kilometers in rural Cambodja with two couchsurfers on the back of tractors and trucks to explore an ancient templevillage
- Learning the basics of meditation and yoga tecniques at a 6 days course in rural Cambodia while befriending the most amazing people and getting hospitalized for 5 days thereafter because I dislocated my leg during yoga
- Staying 10 days in an apartment with 25 other couchsurfers🇰🇭, socializing, playing music and just having a great time
- Couchsurfing for a week on a boat anchored at an Island🇲🇾, kayaking and enjoying nature

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been told alot lately that im always smiling. But hey, im travelling and meeting such cool people along the way, ofcause im happy :)

A curious mind. Loves to talk intensely about anything that matters :) Economic inequality, behavioral psychologi, amazing books, travel stories etc.

I enjoy cooking together and believe the best food experiences is created without a recipe - Improvisation is key

What I Can Share with Hosts

You'll have a friend in me :) I'll try my best to spoil you with something and I'd love to accompain you in whatever activity or hobby you enjoy. Im your guest and I want to learn from you :)
Im also the kind of guy who listens to Stanford and Yale lectures for fun, reads everything related to behavioral psychologi and rambles on about artificial intelligence and the unfortunate absurdities of world suffering both in the developed(depression and anxieties) and undeveloped world(poverty and hunger)
