HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing a bit around, showing people around if needed, helping out in whatever small way I am able.

I'm looking quite much forward to getting a place where I can host, but until then, I'm always up for a cup of tea (not that weird coffee-thing..!) and a show of the city!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed the odd place here and there on a couple of hitchhiking trips in Europe - and am massively grateful for the warm receptions and generous help during long periods of few means, but more importantly I find lovely people all over who turns out to be couchsurfers...

Anything - periodically.

But more often than not, things which have something to do with :
- Music - especially drumming and especially music drawing on all kinds of traditions from around the world, preferably both
- Imagination and fantastical stuff - reading nice stories, making them up, writing them down, pondering on reality, role playing, theater and the like.
- Juggling and other circus-stuff
- the unknown
- Instruments of all shapes, sizes and sounds
- Having a good time, creativity, spontaneous action, oddness, alternative culture (whatever that is), etc.

Phew, most of it really...

All kinds of music from afro-jazz and avant garde over rock from the 70'es to electronica, folk music, chill singer-songwriting, punk rock, reggae and fierce balkan. Especially music that tries to do something different...

I've been getting better at finding the time to read, but I still don't read very much (Not nearly as much as I would like to anyway - it's so hard finding the time!). Lately though, I have been enjoying Thor Åge Bringsdahl (who is amazing!), Haruki Murakami, Astrid Lindgren, various poetry, Terry Pratchett and Gabriel Garcia Marquez...

I do watch movies too, once in a while, but right now, I'm tired of meaningless listing...

I certainly would like to learn... Well nearly anything I don't know. And after all, that probably is a lot. Right now, I would love if someone could teach me to have time...
....And a few tips on the didgeridoo might also be appreciated...

I definitely enjoy teaching people everything I know, but I often have a hard time figuring out just exactly what it is...
I guess I could always teach you to play the drums, or maybe even a little guitar; some basic juggling, give you a few hitchhiking tips, definitely share some thoughts on writing and as soon as someone has taught me, I certainly will teach you to play the blues harp!
