ABOUT ME

I am an optometrist and five years ago I started to travel. Since then, I haven't been able to stop! Thinking about other countries, perspectives and cultures dominates my life! I like nothing more than having a backpack on and going out to see how others go about life. My other addiction is learning Spanish. I started two years ago and can't stop that either. I love to learn something new, meet someone new and maximise my time on the planet!

Soy oculista. Hace cinco años comenzé a viajar. Desde entonces, ¡no he podido parar! Las cosas que guían mi vida son pensar sobre otros países, otras perspectivas y otras culturas. A mi me gusta tomar una mochila y salir al mundo explorar el mundo para ver cómo la gente vive la vida. También estoy enganchado a aprender español. He aprendido desde hace dos años y tampoco no puedo terminar aprender! Me gusta muchísimo aprender cosas nuevas, conocer a gente nueva y aprovechar de mi estancia en esta planeta!

I am new to Couch Surfing but I think that it fits my philosophy on life perfectly - that is, get out and make the most of it. And of course, the best way to do that is through all the other amazing people that are around!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the extreme luck to attend the final of the World Cup last year in South Africa. Though I have some Dutch ancestry, so I left a touch disappointed... Regardless, an incredible experience.

Tuve el inmenso suerte para asistir al final de la Copa Mundial de fútbol hace un año en Súdafrica. Pero tengo un poco de la sangre holandes, así que me fuí un poco decepcionado.... pero fue increíble.
