About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm an archaeologist, so I'm here to fight Nazis.

ABOUT ME

I'm hairy, but I'm slowly going bald. I like to think that I'm different, but I'm probably not. I was raised Southern Baptist, but now I'm an atheist with slight Buddhist leanings. I'm a socialist. I'm a hopeless romantic. I'm southern, but my accent isn't. I like beer, but I rarely get drunk. Potato chips are my greatest weakness. I collect sake sets and fossils. I read, but not as much as I should. I'm currently in grad school working on a master's degree in applied anthropology, concentrating on archaeology. My favorite color is green. I don't know why I'm here or what I'm doing. I think Gilda Radner is one of the sexiest women to have ever lived. My role models include Robert C. Dunnell, Stephen Jay Gould, Jane Goodall, Barack Obama, George Costanza, the Silver Surfer, Kilgore Trout, and the Dalai Lama. I like music, but I appreciate silence more. I'm quiet until I get to know you. I can't swim. I'm afraid of heights. I lived in a barn for two years. My downstairs neighbor was a horse named Esprit. Now I live in a regular old apartment with my two cats, Ralph and Alva.

PHILOSOPHY

"The truth you believe in and cling to makes you unavailable to hear anything new." --Pema Chödrön

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share hilarious stories of drunken archaeology antics, and I'm looking to learn anything you know about curry, vegetarianism, films, Tibetan Buddhism, and pie.
