Sobre mí

CURRENT MISSION

We are dedicated not only to the various Healing Arts which we have studied, but to those who are Open to Heal.

ABOUT ME

We are a male, female, dog trio who love adventure, connection, and being instruments of Spirit.
Jagger- the 14 y.o. pit bull who is quiet and contemplative, but a foodie if there ever was one! If someones in the kitchen, Jagger's underfoot.
Moses- the observer, Asian body worker, and Yogi who seeks to see, be seen, and bring himself and others to the ocean beneath the waves.
Amanda- the Yogini who through food, movement, and stillness looks to bring herself and others to a place of serenity.
And of course Wolfgang- the AUM-mazing evolving panda who's only wish is to teach the importance of evolving with your circumstances (and for a pile of bamboo)

PHILOSOPHY

Three monks walked down a rural road in China. It was monsoon season, and as would be expected, it began to rain. The monks walked on.

The wind began to blow as the rainfall increased. It seemed to the monks that the rain was flying sidewise and attacking them with ferocity. Still, the monks walked on.

The pathway began to flood. As they got closer to the river, rain seemed to be shooting up from the ground which made the footing very unsure. Most would be afraid knowing that it was not safe to press on. The monks walked on.

When the three monks arrived at the river, there was a woman huddled up in a blanket. She said that she could not cross the river and hoped to return to her village when the storms died. She did not mention that she had been out gathering herbs for her sick son. She did not mention that he may not make it through the cold, stormy night without them.

The first two monks wished her luck and, with great effort, made it across the river.
The third monk let the woman climb on his back as he struggled to bring them to the other side safely. The first two monks looked on in surprise.

The woman returned safely to her village which was nearby. The monks walked on.

One monk began to drag behind. His feet were heavy, and there was a scowl on his face. He seemed to get more and more weary AND more and more angry with each step.

After several more miles, the wind calmed down and he spoke to his peer.

"Brother, how could you have helped that woman cross the river!? You know that our vows strictly prohibit us from the slightest contact with a woman! That was forbidden, and if we do not hold to our vows, who are we!? You dishonored all that we stand for by wearing these robes!"

The monk whom he had addressed replied with no surprise in his voice, "My Brother, I let go of her many miles ago. Why is it that you still carry her?"
