I love adventure. Spontaneous trips and travel are big on that. I can be really talkative and love finding out about new people and discussing things we are interested in. I'm going to school to be an environmental journalist so enjoying life outdoors and finding out about new and interesting ways to conserve the environment are a big part of my life.

Interests

Some things that I am especially interested in are all things to do with the environment, reading, writing, and art. I also enjoy cooking and trying new foods wherever I go. I've been involved in some theatre and I've always had so much fun doing it. I love being outdoors and exploring whenever I can. I have a big family and they have been a big part of my traveling past. They encourage it, take part in it, and are widespread across the United States and even Scotland to visiting them has allowed me to travel. I love meeting new people and have new experiences everywhere I go. Finding out about the history, culture, and art in new places inspires me. One of my most favorite things is to explore the natural world in new places I go especially forests and oceans.

Music, Movies, and Books

So many, I'll listen to almost any music, not too crazy about hard core metal, rap, or opera. I like movies, but I apparently am lacking in what I should have seen. I absolutely love to read I couldn't possibly list the books. Someday I hope to have a library like the one in Ever After.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every three years my fathers side of the family gathers at a new location in the United States for a family reunion. When I was 7 we went to Vancouver Island. It was on this trip collecting starfish on the beach when low tide exposes a mile of beach that I was taken with the mystery, beauty, and power of the ocean. I was absolutely mesmerized and now I make it a goal to spend some time on an ocean at least once a year.

My great grandmother took each of my siblings on vacation somewhere when we were young. So when I was twelve I went on a cruise around Scandinavia and the whole trip blew my mind. Being on a boat surrounded by the vast ocean that took me to new and interesting places everyday was like being in a fairy tale. During that trip I saw Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, and Russia. The first day when we landed in Copenhagen and I was walking around the cobblestone streets looking up at all the red roofs and listening to people speak in languages I couldn't even identify I knew that I wanted to have the chance to see as many places as I could in my life.
