to leave work and travel for a year, expanding experiences and seeing the world

ABOUT ME

I have lived in ireland for the past 3years in the south west. Loving the life down here, 5mins from a great surfing beach, rock climbing on the sea cliffs, mountain walking in Kerry, and cycling....anything and everything outside!!
I have travelled with work in india and passion in africa (rock climbing!)
I work with children with learning disabilities at the moment, it is challenging job being responsible for loads of chilren and developing friendships with families and helping the children reach their potential. Occupational therapy is a fantastic career but i am taking a break next year.
I love meeting new people, seeing new places and seing the world.
I love a challenge and to be outside as much as possible, I have travelled a little but I am taking a year off next year from the end of february....cannot wait

PHILOSOPHY

I am trying to develop my knowledge of Buddhism as I have been brought up from quite spiritual parents, but I have only recently found comfortable with the Buddhism...
Open hearted, content with the NOW and really take notice of the naure, and small things in life and smile every day, developing your own happieness which can then be shared with others, that is what i wish for every day....

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just found out about CS and i think it ia wonderful idea, i am very excited about getting more invovlved as i have not had any experience of the CS community yet, but hope to develop this connection, and to help where i can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None as yet with CS, only from couch surfing with people who i worked with in India and this was only for a short period.
I am hoping to develop experience over the next year when i am off travelling for the year, cannot wait

rock climbing in ethiopia and kenya for 2 months, travelling in overalnd truck with 8 other climbers..that was amazing!
working and living in india for 3months with children and adults with disabilities and being able to help them..

i love teaching people climbing, although this can be addictive so a warning is attatched!
I love to meet people and share thoughts and experiences, I am wanting to develop my knowledge of the most precious thing we have...the world
