ABOUT ME

I'm having a blast exploring the world and learning as much as I can. I´m wacky and wild and love to have fun. I'm a birth doula, which means I help bring babies into the world. I like to cook and learn new recipes from everywhere I go. My back pack is filled with art supplies, wild foraged herbs and my head is filled with ideas and projects that I'm working on. I create improvisational music with flutes, didgeridoos and banjo. I have traveled in many ways- Van dwelling, hiking, hitch hiking, train hopping, planes, cross country bicycling, horseback, kayaking and in my school bus with an ever changing group of friends, family, musicians and artists of all sorts.

Before leaving Chicago six years ago, I was an art teacher at a childrens art studio and absolutely loved it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate currently by couch surfing with others. I have met wonderful, amazing, life long friends here. I love to share my stories with others and Swap inpiration. One day I will be a great host!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Over the last 8 years I have couch surfed with dozens of people and made so many special connections.

I spent my 2011 fall in Portugal volunteering through the WWOOF organization. I got the pleasure of couchsurfing for my first time at some really wonderful peoples' places in southern Algarve. They were so hospitable, I would love to treat my future couch surfers the same way.

I have been couch surfing all over the united states, random countries and have met so many great people!

2016 Lived in Hawaii for 6 months and then to Mongolia for the summer on an epic, improvised Rainbow Horse Caravan.

2014-15 Hitch hiked thru Central America.

2013 Travelled 2000 miles on bicycle with a trailer full of art supplies and my kitty, Luna.

2012 Headed out to the Gifford Pinchot National Forest in Washington where we spent another AMAZING summer. It is such a UNIQUE feeling to be surrounded by nothing but nature. Its the most HUMAN I have ever felt.

Fall of 2011 Hitch hiked and volunteered on organic farms in Portugal. Slept on the cliff side 100 feet above the ocean. Just me, My love, The moon & the waves for 1000s of miles.

2011 I got to spend the endless days and months in the Wasatch National forest in Utah. Completely off the grid in the middle of the mountains is a feeling indescribable.
