As a HOST!

NO HITCHHIKERS PLEASE. I have nothing against you guys. I admire your courage and it seems very fun. But as my apartment is not as big, and from my past experiences. There could be hygiene problems and it’s affecting the whole room like seriously. So I don’t wanna risk it anymore. And I can’t tolerate the uncertainty of time when you will reach at the place since you are hitchhiking. As a person who has strict timetables. It just doesn’t work for me.

And for SPONTANEOUS TRAVELERS, you aren’t a match for me too. As a host, I gotta prepare the house, the beddings. And need to be available to accept you. If you think you are the ones who let whatever comes in your way guide your direction. A paid hotel/hostel or other hosts would be more suitable. 👌 Don’t take people’s kindness for granted.

I am staying in a condominium near BTS line. So it’s very easy for you to come and go to any places but it’s not near the tourist side as the tourist places are not in the city center. Sometimes I get a comment like my area is not in the city center but when I asked where is their city center they told me Khaosarn Road. So to be clear that’s not a city center.

I am quite busy with work even though most of it can be done online. So don’t expect to hang out. Haha. I mean if I’m free and up to it I would love to take everyone to see nice stuff in my city. But sometimes after back to back meetings, I just wanna chill in my bed, being lazy and watching Netflix. But it doesn’t mean that I won’t be nice or communicate with you :)

What I can really offer is just a bed and a room. Where you can go in and out anytime you want (but we need to communicate). But please don’t expect me to be a personal guide (I got that request quite a lot).

AND I can’t recommend places or make plans for you. Because as a traveller myself. I only go where I am interested. And mine and yours might not be the same. Trust me you don’t need a local insight to blend in with the local. I’ve been to places in India that Indians don’t even know about on my own. The important thing you need to do is to do your own research. So please don’t ask me for that unless you got a very specific request and need a local guy to help investigate. Though I could suggest some places once we know each other more so that I can suggest the ones that are suitable based on your interest.

Reading previous paragraphs makes me feel like I’m very bitchy lol. But I don’t bite!

AS A GUEST!

I won’t do all of the above, of course. Haha. I’m a very laid back while traveling. Whenever I go somewhere. I always have what’s in my mind that I wanna do or see. So the hosts don’t need to take care of me much.
