Overview
About Me
Hi! My name is Mostafa Ahmed Ali Wasfy Omar Aga Jarkas , I know, it's a long one! 😄
I'm Egyptian with Turkish roots and a deep passion for history. I studied Islamic, Pharaonic, modern European, Asian history, and both World Wars at Cairo University.
I’m someone who values genuine connection, kindness, and learning from others. People often describe me as easygoing, respectful, and thoughtful, with a curious spirit and a good sense of humor. I enjoy meaningful conversations, whether it's over a coffee, during a walk by the Nile, or in the middle of a spontaneous adventure.
Couchsurfing has given me the chance to meet inspiring people from all over the world, and I try to give back by offering local tips, historical insights, and honest hospitality,no expectations, just good energy. I’ve helped friends navigate the city, shared stories, and even joined trips last-minute because that’s part of the magic: saying “yes” and seeing what unfolds.
What matters most to me is creating a safe, comfortable space where people can be themselves. I’ve been lucky to have beautiful exchanges, and I hope to keep building friendships that go beyond borders and time.
Whether you're here for a chat, help with something, or just passing through,I’ll do my best to make your experience in Egypt a little more special.
People often call me "the philosophy guy" , maybe because I love deep conversations, or because I seem like an old soul who appreciates vintage things.
Some things that define me:
My motto: Push yourself to the limit!
I’m always thankful, even for the challenges
I believe in the idea that “when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”
I’m endlessly optimistic and never give up

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people from around the world, exchange cultures, and share the history of my country. I'm training to become a tour guide, and meeting Couchsurfers helps me grow – and I hope I can also offer them something valuable in return!
