Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To experience the world. :)
ABOUT ME
Private. Shy. Rather reserved. Moody. Occasionally crude.
Self proclaimed weirdo. Laid-back. Good-natured. :P
PHILOSOPHY
The world has so much to offer, don't get stuck in a bubble.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can show you around Jakarta (or Makassar if I happen to be there instead). You have to be okay with using public transport though since I don't have a car (public transport is more interesting anyway, especially the cheap ones *smile*).
Um..what else? I can help you get accustomed to the Indonesian culture and acquainted with some Indonesian history (just know that I'm no expert).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Haven't surfed nor hosted yet. Looking forward to doing both.
Had great fun with CS Manila during my 4 month stay in the Philippines. A really cool bunch.

Music, Movies, and Books
I consider myself pretty eclectic. From Oasis to Club 8 to Tchaikovsky. From 'Turtles Can Fly' to 'The Fall' to 'Shaun of the Dead'. From 'Goodnight Mr. Tom' to 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy' to Japanese manga.
Right now I lean towards the quirky.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swimming with whale-sharks.
Island hopping, snorkeling, beach-camping.
Spelunking.
Trekking (non-intense, hehe).
Exploring random big and small cities.
(Nothing hardcore, hoping to change that soon....)
Teach, Learn, Share
Um..If anyone has any questions regarding Islam, you can ask me. I won't be offended and I'll answer to the best of my knowledge.
Before you tune out, let me note that I'm not a religious nut. The reason I choose to include this here is because I'm aware the subject is sometimes treated too sensitively and as a result the answers given tend to be defensive instead of explanatory. Or sometimes questions are not asked at all for fear of being disrespectful. You don't need to worry about that with me.
Also, although I've been raised a muslim I consider myself a theological agnostic. I have my own questions regarding existentialism, so don't worry, I won't try to shove anything down your throat.
