About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Fika my way all over the Swedish Isles
ABOUT ME
All about me: seems a bit self-indulgent, but here we go. I'm a fairly quiet individual, but very social, you might say patient and calm as opposed to crazy, loud and doing life at a million miles an hour. I take it slow, chilled out, and I don't make any apologies for being that way. As long as it (eventually) gets done, what's the hurry?
I'm prone to getting philosophical and idealistic and, although I said I'm quiet, I'm actually quite talkative, and I like being able to talk about anything. Which is why I have too many little interests to know what to do with, which means I tend to know a little bit about loads of different things, rather than being at all expert in any one thing. Which is frustrating!
PHILOSOPHY
Not sure it it's technically a philosphy, but I believe in treading lightly during one's time on Earth, being gentle and kind. That goes for how you treat the planet and other individuals too. It's not nice to see someone crush someone else, or something else, to get what they want. Not cool!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm hosting people now! When I'm home anyway. I've hosted more than I've surfed over the last year or so, I want to surf more, even when I visit places where I have friends.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It has been great so far. When you open your home to the right people, it can be such a rewarding experience. And I think the more you do it, the better it gets.
Interests
I'm really into food - growing it cooking it eating it, talking about it. I study Sustainability in Sweden. I play guitar. I like driving long distances while listening to Neil Young's "Old Man". I can get addicted to good TV series, like Game of Thrones, which is amazing. I am addicted to coffee, and I think it counts as an interest. I'm counting it as an interest.

Music, Movies, and Books
The greatest TV series of all time is 'Spaced' - it is absolutely sublime.
I listen a lot to Ray Lamontagne. He has a ghostly voice, and I love his heartbroken songs and uncommon strumming patterns.
My favourite film, or one of them, is 'The Labyrinth'. It has David Bowie in it and reminds me of my entire childhood.
I've recently left fiction behind me and have started reading recipe books.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm actually really fascinated by pedagogy and education in general. Could be the reason why I'm still hanging around at university.
Something more concrete: I'd love to learn the mandolin.
