ABOUT ME

Ermmmm well easiest thing to say is I'm a travel junkie! I want to go everywhere, see everything, try anything and meet everyone possible :D
On my bucket list is:
- do a jump-on-jump-off train journey across India
- travel from Mozambique to Cape down
- do a road trip across North America

I'm a bit cooky and don't let things bother me, I figure there's not enough time in the world to be upset :)

Every experience is a lesson worth living, good or bad.
Live for the day.
The road less travelled might give you scars, but they'll be worth remembering!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of seeing places from a local point of view rather than a touristy one - I think you find so many fab secret spots.

I love Redmond O'Hanlons Congo Journey - my copy has travelled with me for the past 16 years and is only holding together thanks to the new plastic cover.
Music wise, I'm very eclectic and can't be pinned down I'm afraid!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first dive in Gili Trawangan - breathing underwater is an experience that I would live again and again and again if I could.

Walking the streets of Paris and suddenly realising I LIVE there.

Sprinting across the salt desert on my way to Chile and knowing that years and years before where I was standing was covered in water.

Teach, Learn, Share

If there's a situation where you can't do anything to help, there is simply NO point in getting upset. Getting upset doesn't solve anything, and it just makes you more sad.
