CURRENTLY TRAVELING THE USA ON A SCOOTER 🛵

I'm Lena , full-time traveller from Russia. I've visited 58 countries until now, and (kinda) residing now in the US in the motorhome.

I work with social media, video editing and travel writing. This job requires only wifi anywhere in the world, isn’t it a dream?

I’ve been to many countries and regions, but most of the time I spent in Latin America. I love the culture and Spanish language, I feel there like home and keep coming back. I lived in the jungle with indigenous people and hunt crocodiles with them, climbed 6100 m mountains and swam across the ice-cold river in Chilean Antarctic:) This kind of adventures I enjoy a lot. I am also doing my first steps in rock climbing and mountaineering.

Sometimes I travel with my husband Paul. We met in Colombia 5 years ago, and since then we live on the road together. We both work online. Paul is a programmer; he also makes music, loves snowboarding and other sports. We love hiking, camping in the mountains, learning something new about the world and ourselves.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel to learn about people, to exchange ideas and to get new perspective on the world.

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rope jumping (4 times!)
"Trail of death" on Huashan mountain in China
Living with local family in small African town
Got lost in the jungles in Vietnam
Diving
Wacken Open Air.
Living with huarani indigenous community deep in the jungle, hunting, fishing,etc.
Ayahuaska ceremony with indigenous ashaninka shaman near Boiling River in Amazon
Took part in the competitions of boogie woogie.
Decide spontaneously to move to Canada and did it in one month.
Traveled 5 years non stop
Spontaneously climbed to the top of 6100 meters mountain in Kyrgyzstan without any special training.
