I've had a few couchsurfing experiences in Boston, Atlanta, Indianapolis, San Juan (Puerto Rico), and Morocco and they have all introduced me to absolutely great people I still keep in touch with today!

-hiking in a wadi
-been to the tallest building in the world- Burj Khalifa
-spent a year volunteering at a preschool in Senegal, West Africa
-been to Palm Jumeirah
-scuba diving/snorkeling in the Caribbean
-swam in Atlantic, Indian ocean, Med. sea
-saved a poisonous sea snake
-prayed in the largest mosque in the world (prior to the one in Saudi)
-straddled two countries at the same time (UAE & Oman)
-drove on mountains with no roads!
-rode camels in the desert (stereotypical, i know!)
-got piercings on three different continents!
