ABOUT ME

Born on an island off of Massachusetts (USA), I moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico, when I was 9. I moved back to Massachusetts a year and a half later. I went to college at the University of Massachusetts (UMass) where I majored in Electrical Engineering, and minored in Neuroscience. After dropping out of a Masters program at UMass I moved near Seattle, Washington for work. I moved back to the Boston area a couple years ago.

Since I moved back, I joined the Army National Guard and became an infantry officer.

PHILOSOPHY

Fairly simple, I suppose: As long as you aren't hurting others, live your life the way you want. Go on as many adventures as you can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't participated yet! I'd like to host some people, do some short trips to build my profile and recommendations up, and then start using this to travel the world!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None. At least not through this site. I've found myself in unfortunate circumstances in strange places before, though, and got by with the help of strangers. That's probably why I like the idea of this site so much.

Interessen

Mountaineering, scuba diving, skydiving, snowboarding, Hashing (Hash House Harriers - it's not what you think), aviation.

Technology, inventing/making, literature, movies, and video games comprise my more intellectual (and less-extreme) interests.
