About Me
CURRENT MISSION
trying to survive winter in vienna.help me! :D
ABOUT ME
ALL about me? that destroys the mystery ;P
okay, for the basic facts, I'm a student of international development and management of natural resources in vienna.
when I'm not studying, I spend most of my time outside, doing sports or just walking around watching people. that's even better in foreign countries! I love travelling and meeting new people!
When I'm in a new country, I spend most of my time walking around, with eyes wide open or sharing ideas with people I meet. pretty often that's couchsurfers ;)
PHILOSOPHY
hm...in one word? awareness!
i think that combines pretty much everything that is important to me. I care a lot about global problems, especially environmental ones, and I think if more people were really aware of what is going on, many things could be better.
In relation to other people around me, I think respect and honesty are the keys. I try to accept people around me the way they are and am honest in all I do. Especially in couchsurfing, where you open your home to people you don't know, that's what I do and what I expect from others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
though i was a bit scared of staying with "strangers" at first, so far I have only had very good experiences. it was fun, i learned a lot more about the country than i would have on my own (ranging from political debates to the analysis of which country likes what kind of pillows :D ), met great people and found wonderful new friends.
Interests
Most of all, I'm intered in nature. All kinds, all over the world. I love being outside, doing sports, reading or just watching the world around me. That's why I ususall don't do city-tours, but prefer going to some special natural sights of a country. Still, cities can be interesting, too.
If I'm not running around, I love to read, mostly books with some kind of philosophical background.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
mmmh...I think that was living in an indigenuous community in Ecuador for 9 month...climbing a volcano there...hiking in the Himalayas...just doing nothing for an entire day after a stressful week...swimming in the sea...spending a wonderful holiday with my family...and soon it will be visiting my brother whom I haven't seen for some month.
