ABOUT ME

I'm an easy going guy who is passionate about spending quality time outdoors and can usually be found at the bottom (or top) of a crag, in the middle of a boulder field, up a mountain or lazing around at the beach. There is usually a braai going somewhere close by, with some hunks of meat sizzling away! Oh yeah, I also like bourbon!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've only surfed at the moment but as soon as I get my own place, I'll start hosting people. That's when the fun will really start.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only used Couchsurfing once; it ended up being a more permanent arrangement!

Interests

Climbing! Indoors / Outdoors, on rock, on ice or bouldering.
Mountaineering from the small UK mountains to the Andes; it's all good.
Living a Paleo / Primal lifestyle.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Snatch, Chronicles of Riddick, Dazed and Confused.
Music: Anything from the peaceful Norah Jones to the non-peaceful Dubstep and everything in between.
Books: Mostly technical, although the Game of Thrones books have been awesome.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being in the Andes mountain range for seven weeks in 2011 - simply awesome.
