CURRENT MISSION

I was born and raised in North Dakota. Now I'm on the job hunt in Los Angeles, and I've run out of friends to stay with. Now I'm hoping to surf from couch to couch in an effort to stay in this city I've come to love so much.

ABOUT ME

I'm pretty quiet (and I find it difficult to talk about myself!). I love to read, particularly historical fiction and nonfiction. I am always working on a book. I also love hiking and camping and the outdoors. As a born and bred North Dakotan, I am a bit of an ice hockey fanatic - I played until I was 15 and still love to watch. My favorite team is the Toronto Maple Leafs, which causes me to ride a roller coaster of hope and despair every season without fail. I also enjoy the trifecta of trying new and interesting foods, drinking beer, and, of course, running. I'm always looking for a new adventure. To that end, I once worked on an oyster and eel farm in Canada, and it was the best experience of my life!

I lived in Fargo, Rochester (NY), and Philadelphia prior to moving to Los Angeles. I love this city.

I worked on an eel farm in Canada. I'd ride around the province to pick up the day's catch. I have never seen a more beautiful place in my life.
