ABOUT ME

As much as many think they can define who they are, our meaning and legacy is always defined by others. Therefore, see what people have said about me below, and that will be much more accurate than anything I can say about myself.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't worry, be happy :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've just got settled in Albuquerque NM, so now I'm hoping I'll actually be able to host people. I can potentially host 'anytime' (i.e., no day is better than any other day), but of course, it all depends on what's going on.

As a guest, I'm a pretty busy parent/post-doc so I'm unable to travel too much, but I try to couchsurf every time I attend a conference.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Every experience I've had has been awesome. I've met some of the most interesting people via CS and hope to continue to do so.

Interests

exploring the unknown, whether answering psychological research questions or meeting different people or hearing new music, it's all the same

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Inception, Crash, Law-Abiding Citizen, La Vita e Bella, Amores Perros, Mariposa

Music: changes every other month, but lately, been listening to a lot of Mumford and Sons, Fun, and Blue October (and whatever is played on their Pandora radio stations)

Books: Last fiction book I read was the Da Vinci Code, 1984 is one of my favorites; in another life (or maybe later in this one), I could read novels all day, but in this life (at this moment in time), my reading is mostly psychology articles/books
Recently, I've started reading biographies (Albert Einstein, Richard Feynman)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I try to see 'amazing' in the mundane

Teach, Learn, Share

If everyone's a student, and everyone's a teacher, then everyone can learn from everyone.

Countries I’ve Visited

Mexico

Countries I’ve Lived In
