About Me

Freshly Canadian permanent resident after living 3 years in Montreal, my current mission is to step out of the office, breathe the fresh west canadian air and live! I want to slow travel, I want get to know you! share our point of views and meals. Traveling has always been a reconnection to myself since I started Couchsurfing in SouthEst Asia at a young age :) I have made my best travel friends with whom I still keep in touch with.

I am an open minded person, full of enthousiasm and positivity! I originally come from a sea side city called Brest in brittany, France. This is a laid back place where you mainly do sea linked activities. Daddy was a travel agent and always inspired me to open my eyes and travel the world. That led me to live and travel in different countries, ( china, kenya, canada) and staying curious about the people around me.

I am an easy going person, and will respect your environment and way of live. I have hosted a lot of people at my place, not especially through couchsurfing but friends of friends generally. have a nice chat around a cup of tea, to a home made meal is treasure to me!

So Let's enjoy life!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Opened to any king of music but extreme metal one ( unless someone shows me the beauty in it, i'm opened). I am really sensitive to blues and Jazz as brass instruments really vibe me. Piano relaxes me and voices on top inspire me ( I can listen to pop Alicia keys no problem).
So Music is my life, I play it according to current moods. I'm more generally into blues- soul, but i do also love indie-rock, rock, pop, electronic music. Can be loud, can be soft. I have my 70's moments, I also have my classical music moments, or world music moments.. Show me your playlist!

I love watching movies for sure, documentaries as well. and to be honest I do not have a good Movies memories. About reading, I want to get back to it, as I let myself out of it with the professionnal life unfortunately. The kind of books I like though are thrillers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the sun rise over the Masaii Mara plaines in Kenya, life contemplation!

And the most generous welcoming stay by a thai family offering me some place to stay in their home garage on the street. I was stuck at the Thai-Malaysian border as the border was closed for the night..haha. A woman saw me, and told me to wait with her. She couldn't speak english, I couldn't speak Thai. I just trusted her. Suddenly, two motorcycles appeared and I jumped on one of them, following the lady towards that unknown city at night.. and the traffic. I've had then the best night I can remember eventhough we couldn't understand any words we were saying, It was all about signs, body langage and being sensitive about feelings. Incredible. This family were literally living in a garage, on the street, selling food. They have been so generous to me and they all were so happy and sharing, they were shining! I often think of them.

Teach, Learn, Share

Curious about handcrafts, pottery and home made creations ( microbrewery, Kamboucha making.. teach me!), honey bees. I am sensitive to mother nature and would love to meet persons that have passions linked to that!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My fabulous home made dumplings :) I can make them veggie as well. and a pack a beers ( or good fresh lemonade goes well too.)
