ABOUT ME

I like to explore and believe that even a bad situation will make a great story somewhere down the line! I love meeting and travelling with new people from around the world and getting to know their culture. I worked as an English teacher in South Korea for 3 years and I think that experience has helped ground me and of course fuelled my desire to travel even more!
As a person I've been told that I'm caring, funny and a bit weird... but in a good way!

PHILOSOPHY

I think the most important thing to me is that I LIVE. What's the point of staying in one place when there is so much more out there to explore and do!

Interests

If I have a camera and I'm travelling I'm pretty much the happiest person in the world! I love nature and animals so give me a camera, a plane ticket, a forest and wildlife and well... that's the ultimate drug in my opinion!
Learning new languages is great, I can read more than I can actually understand though... but I enjoy the art of learning them!
I love sports, watching, playing, talking about them... especially hockey. (naturally!)
Books and music rate high on my list as well and so does strapping on my ski's and heading down a mountain!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'll read just about anything. I love to be taken away to some distant land, left in awe and inspired to do better but I also love to sit down with a good Harry Potter book!!

The same thing goes for movies I'll watch just about anything especially if I can have a conversation about what I just watched!

Music... well sometimes when iTunes is on shuffle I hear a song and think "What one of my personalities put that on there!"
My taste usually depends on my mood! But I love alternative and folk the most these days I think!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While it may not sound all that amazing getting on the plane to Korea all by myself was singlehandedly the greatest thing I've ever done because it opened so many doors to brilliant adventures!
