Couches, the final frontier. My mission, to seek out new couches, new friends, and boldy surf where I have never surfed before!

ABOUT ME

I'm currently teaching in English in Turkey until June 2010. I am also working as a freelance journalist, and consider that my ultimate career goal. While in Turkey, I want to travel to different parts of the country to learn more about Turkish culture and the country's natural and historical landmarks.

I'm always open to an adventure, and hope to continue seeing more of the world.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to say "Yes" when ever possible. Living in Turkey has given me a great picture of how saying yes to even a simple invite for a cup of tea can turn into an adventure, a new learning experience, and often wonderful new friendships.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now, I'm new to couch surfing and hope that I can meet some new people as I continue to travel. I'm open to letting people surf on my couch as long as I am available.
