About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To try just about anything once

PHILOSOPHY

The world is my oyster.

"Life for you has been less than kind? Take a number, stand in line. We've all been sorry, we've all been hurt. But how we survive is what makes us who we are"
-Tim McIlrath, Rise Against

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've never used this site before but my friend just suggested it. Hopefully I'll have positive experiences to report back on in the future

--Hosted my first couchsurfer through the site in May, definitely a lot of fun

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've spent time in high school couch surfing at friend's houses when in times of need, and I'm eternally grateful for this. I've also let friends crash on my couch for months at a time, and the people I am living with now have let at least 2-3 people live in their living room when times get tough. Human generosity is still one thing that never ceases to amaze me

Interests

I live for music. I work practically every day, go to school when I have time and occasionally sleep. I'm learning American Sign Language and it's kind of my passion.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Rise Against, Sublime, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Streetlight Manifesto and Atmosphere (top 5 bands). Obsessed with dubstep and various forms of techno, I basically love music in every shape and form.

Books: Daniel Quinn and Chuck Palahniuk, anything they've written. Dystopian society novels. Life of Pi. Graphic novels/manga. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series. Among others

Movies: Too many. Just ask

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to Quetico Provincial Park in Canada for a backpacking/canoeing trip for a few weeks. One of the most beautiful places on Earth.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to make an awesome batch of unsalted, deep fried chicken.
