About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Need a new mission...Africa and Australia

ABOUT ME

Visited all 50 of the US states and am ready to see them again. I have also been to all but two Canadian provinces and would happily visit them all again.

PHILOSOPHY

School is still in session for me and the answers have not come easily or quickly. I still wonder why the heck I've come here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

CS is still fairly new to me. I hope to do some traveling and meet good people along the way and also get a chance to host at some point. We currently have a full house. I like hotels for some things for sure, however, I have never found them to be insightful and engaging to learning culture or connecting with people in a meaningful way to me.

Interests

Food, Dining, Singing, Travel, Red Wine, Water Sources, Beautiful Vistas, too many things.

Music, Movies, and Books

I generally enjoy all music that is done well. I tend to gravitate toward art that is more classic in nature, classic rock, classical music, love impressionism; something that has some legs to it. There are always exceptions. A couple favorite movies for me are: So I Married and Ax Murderer and Gattaca, but the list could go on. Books: Stranger in a Strange Land, Atlas Shrugged, Bible, Siddhartha, Tao te ching, and a variety of spiritual, inspirational, and self learning material.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not sure; I have jumped out of an airplane and also did the highest commercial bungy jump in the world. Not sure if that is a amazing or simply crazy. I loved swimming with the sea lions in the Galapagos and climbing Machu Picchu

Teach, Learn, Share

I have remodeled a few homes from a construction side of things. I enjoy working in many of the trades, but I'm certainly just an amateur and have a great respect for those who really have the skills. I have performed as a singer throughout the world and there's still some more I would like to do in this regard.

Countries I’ve Visited
