Hi !

I m Charles, a backpacker travelling the world with a sweet French accent.
I decided to leave my country in early January 2016 to get new life experiences , meet incredibles people, earn a maximum of new knowledge and become the best version of myself.

I ve been doing many differents jobs ( Postman , backliner , professional videogames player..). Most recently between 2014 to 2016 I was owning a cultural bar in the medieval city of Montluçon, a little city in France's countryside and graduated from European Bartender School , in Kos ( Greece ).

I m also Vegetarian.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

My first Couchsurfing experience was living with a community in Melbourne-AUS for three months.
This awesome community, CrunchyTown , was accepting a lot of couchsurfers , I m realy grateful to have had the chance to live that experience , meet new people and open my mind to a new definition of sharing.
Since this, I m convinced that couchsurfing is for me. It is the best way to travel and keep the adventure on !

I would define myself as a passionte person. Passionate on everything !
I ve been practicing bass for a couple of years , I realy enjoy play a bit when I can.
I love talking for hours about History , Science and philosophy. I m open to conversation and enjoy listening to new perceptions on things !

I enjoy every kind of music and appreciate dance !
I m excited to discover news artists , Jazz , rock , hip hop , reggae..
My favourite artists would be Jim Morison , Boby McFerrin , Pink Floyd and Bob Marley.

I love English comedies , every movie with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost in the same casting or Leslie Nielsen are good movies !
I m also in love with old French cinema and everything with Robin Williams.
Every kind of good science-fiction are also more than welcome !
Some of my favourite movies would be The Green Mile , Man From Earth , Dead Poet Socity and How High.

I regret to not read more , but I try to work on it ! My favourite book would defenetly be the sci-fi novel Dune ( Franck Herbert ). I also read authors like Carlos Castaneda , Don Miguel Ruiz , Dr Raymond Mody or Aldous Huxley.
I also realy enjoy Wilter Withman , Blake and Hendrix's poetry !
