Hello.!! I am a friendly and relaxed person who likes to get outdoors and make the most of things. My job ensures I am away from home often but also provides adventures around the world.

I am a Welshman.....we Welsh enjoy and are sometimes good at drinking, rugby and singing.......

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in my own house in Swansea, South Wales. I can return the favour of anyone sharing their knowledge of their location with me by accomodating you and showing you around the beautiful and rugged coastline of S Wales and Gower if you wish!! I have a spare room for anyone wishing to utilise it while I am home. I have hosted many people and love it, I've also surfed!

I am social but also love doing my lone wolf adventures so anyone putting me up doesn't need to feel obliged to baby sit me haha!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a few times and had a brilliant time showing people around Swansea and letting them relax in my home! I have surfed once in New York and it was a very positive first experience of surfing!! I am 100% positive about the CS project and am loving meeting people and sharing stories!!

Interests

I have a wide variety of interests which range from learning piano and Spanish to running along the beach or riding my bicycle through forests. Travel is obviously a big passion of mine and I love learning about new places and finding out its history. I also like just turning up in a new city and wandering around having a mini adventure. I enjoy sports with soccer being my favorite.

I love skiing and can't get enough!!

Social wise I can switch seemlessly from a relaxed coffee sat outside in the sun to an energy charged night out or laying on the beach with a beer!! I keep myself in top physical condition due to my job but actually enjoy training. I am easy to talk to so if you want to know anything just ask :).

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music but don't limit myself to specific genres.......if a song sounds good to me I will like it no matter who sings it!! Comedies are at the top of my movie list....if it's silly humour like Dumb and Dumber or Old School then I will love it!! I like to read action books or older ones from when I was in school like The Chronicles of Narnia.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 7 weeks in the jungle of Borneo learning to be a jungle survival instructor, the diversity of the life and environment made it unique to any other place on Earth. On the other side I spent 3 months in the Arctic Circle which entailed cross country skiing with a lot of equipment.
I am a parachutist so have seen the world from a fast and windy elevated position.

I recently traversed South America on my own for 8 weeks.

I have seen Niagara Falls, Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) and the Mayan Temples and look forward to adding plenty more to the list :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I am keen to learn about other languages even if it's just some basic things, I have a good memory so am able to pick them up easy!!! I can teach you how to party like a Welshman and how to survive in the jungle or the arctic!!
