About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the world and meet cool people while I'm doing it

ABOUT ME

I'm willing to try anything that's fun... as long as it won't hurt innocent bystanders lol. I like to laugh and I like to make others laugh. I love to meet new people and learn about their cultures, their pasts, and their futures. I'm nice to animals too :)

PHILOSOPHY

I want to enjoy life, and I want all of you to enjoy it with me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've told friends of mine about this site (and quite a few strangers too). I've practically been a walking advertisement for couchsurfing.org at every hostel I stayed in haha.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At this point, I've met a few couchsurfers in my travels throgh Spain and the hostels I stayed in while I was there. I haven't had the chance to host yet, but would like to soon.

You could say I was couch surfing before I even knew what "couch surfing" was. My parents have always been very gracious hosts and given up their own beds so other people could have a place to rest.

Interests

I like being active... hiking, basketball, boxing, running, anything that leaves me winded. I also like to go out with friends to enjoy the nightlife. I like discovering new places, even if they're in my own town. I like having long conversations with friends that last until the middle of the night hahaha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I purposely sought out the poorest, most dangerous neighborhood in Barcelona (the metro won't even stop there anymore) and walked through its streets without fear. No Gaudi masterpiece, museum, or beach could EVER compare to the satisfaction I felt from that experience. The people there lacked money, but were rich in something far more important... culture.

Another time, I gathered a few friends and their bikes together, rode to the Caltrain station in San Jose, took the 40-minute train ride to San Francisco, and discovered places on my bike that no one ever sees from the inside of a car!

Teach, Learn, Share

One of my main interests growing up was nutrition. Don't get me wrong, I eat any type of food, no matter how greasy or strange lol. But I also know how to eat healthy and can offer tips to anyone who wants to know.

What I do I want to learn? Cooking! Teach me how to cook your favorite meal, and I'll prepare it for you.
