ABOUT ME

I am a simple man but not in a boring or undesirable fashion. I read. I write. I laugh. I play sports. I watch sports. I walk. I love riding my bike and spending time with my friends and eating new food and being with my family and walking my dog. I realize more so each day that life is worth nothing if you can't have fun and laugh. I make mistakes and I learn from them but they have made me who I am and I love it. I want to change the world one day.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to meet people and sleep on their couches and I would love to do the same for everyone and anyone else.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I drove down to Oaxaca, Mexico from Chicago, IL this past summer and was fortunate enough to stay with two wonderful hosts. It was my first time CouchSurfing and the experience was one I want to continue to experience and allow others to experience.

Life is short and people will always surprise you when you allow them to, so I want to keep experiencing new people and meeting everyone and anyone.

I love reading. I am constantly reading a book, a magazine, the internet, or a newspaper. When I'm not I can be listening to music (usually done together) or watching Netflix. I am a pop culture fanatic but I have learned none of this replaces interaction with other people.

Soaking up information about people from all over the world is one of the goals of my life. I want to know as many people as possible so I am better able to enter the teaching profession with a well-rounded and cultured perspective on life. I will share as much as people are willing to listen to.
