ABOUT ME

Just a regular Canadian guy with a passion for all things Foreign. I love adventure and travel brings a ton of it. Nothing better than experiencing a different culture in the day-to-day sense, and also the language. I speak a few languages and love getting inside the mentality of the locales :)

After Uni, bought a one-way ticket to Europe, and I love the sense of adventure as the adrenalin kicks in at the start of a trip - it is addictive.

When it comes to exploring a new or old city, I love a mix of historical stuff, museums, etc, especially abandoned buildings!

Of course I also like enjoying the local food, drink and nightlife :)

I have a few addictions including: meeting new people, motorbikes, coffee, bicycles, photography, urban exploration, and travel of course.

PHILOSOPHY

You only live once - enjoy "now" because its all you are certain about. Embrace new experiences, smile, laugh :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Staying in a small Swedish town was really cool, and finding out all about the locals and their customs and habits. the Swedes are very bizarre…lol... but nice

Interests

Love: foreign films, coffee, Photography, motorbikes, dancing at the club, abstract art, volleyball, my cellphone, talking other languages, hanging out in cafes / pubs / bars :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Toured the Greek Islands... wow.. paradise on earth :)

Ran my own pubcrawl in Krakow, guiding tourists around. Absolutely amazing

summer 2018 - rebuilt and then rode a motorbike all around Poland ..... 170kmh cruising on the Polski 'autobahn' = fun :D

Oct 2018 - did 6 country, 3000km motorbike tour of Europe ! highlights - Bratislava, Oktoberfest, Praha, Ukraina

Random tip (since my name is Rayban) - good quality sunglasses will protect your eyes from dangerous UV rays.

Those cheap 5 euro glasses you have can actually darken things (so your pupils open more and let more light in) without filtering, thus damaging your eyes.
