ABOUT ME

I do puppets and comedy on the street. I started on Venice Beach. I'm not really a street performer, I'm a sidewalk performer, I used to be a street performer, I kept getting hit by cars. I enjoy meeting new people, and making people laugh. I used to be "Janor Hypercleets" in the Church of the Subgenuis. I want to go into Hollywood eventually and have my own T.V. show.Right now I do street comedy on Haight Street in San Francisco, and Pacific Avenue in Santa Cruz.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in a philosophy similar to Buddism. You just stay in the present and trust and let life happen. I was also very influenced by a book by Harry S. Brown, "How I Found Freedom in an Unfree World". He said no one acts outside their own self interest and everyone expeiences reality diferently. His philosophy shows you how to maximize your personal freedom with your time and money while still respecting the rights of others.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If anyone wants to stay on my couch, just contact me. I'd have to meet the person first, and run it past my roomate, but he's usually pretty cool.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have a lot of experience. Occasionally, another street performer will be in the area and need a place to stay and we let them stay on the couch.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read so much and watch so many movies, it would be hard to say, I've read 1,000's of books and watched 1,000's of movies. Right now i'm reading a book about picking up women called "The Game" by Neil Strauss. One of my favorite books is 1984 by George Orwell. I recently saw "Iggy and the Stooges" reunion tour in san francisco. The Stooges are my favorite band.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was a performer in Church of the Subgenuis I did this performance art piece called "The Bleeding Head of Arnold Palmer Launchers Society" and I was in several national magazines and also there were pictures and my writing in Simon anc Schuster books.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach someone how to be a street performer. This guy in Venice Beach taught me. I can teach meditation.
