ABOUT ME

Welcome to my profile. I LOVE to travel. It all started with a year at Musicians Institute in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Since then I got the travel bug and am trying to see as many places as possible.

I left my Corporate job and am now working as a Kinesiologist and Musician. Living my dreams YEAH :-)

During my studies I spent time studying and working in France, Germany and Switzerland. I chose my internships as international as possible. These include Marketing jobs in the USA, PR in Shanghai/China and Sydney/Australia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I already have a big network of international friends (Los Angeles, Sweden, France, Germany, Switzerland, Thailand, China, Vietnam, Black Hmong Minority people in Sapa Vietnam....). I would like to offer my couch to travellers, because I know how much fun it is to have a local friend/tour-guide...

If I am not traveling I will do my best to host you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have some experience as a surfer in Switzerland, Australia and China. Since settling down in Switzerland I have hosted people and absolutely LOVE the couchsurfing experience.

Interests

I love to play and sing...Before LA i used to have an original band, after LA I started playing with a German coverband and since the last 6 months I have been travelling too much in order to have a band. So, I just sometimes join locals bands for a song or two (Thailand, China...). Well, back in Switzerland now so got a great group of guys together and performing stories from my life, come and see The Mike Story LIVE

I also am very interested in Alternative Medicine. Am a Kinesiologist and am really excited to help people with getting and being healthy :-)

Being the older brother of a Black Hmong family (minority people in the northwest of Vietnam in the mountains of Sapa)

Climbed 2 holy mountains in China

Performing as a street musician in Shanghai

I can teach you how to play Piano and also offer you a free Kinesiology session.
