About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am purely in this for the experience of meeting a large variety of interesting people

ABOUT ME

I am a playfully opinionated, yet truthfully open-minded individual with a great amount of ambition. I seek a simple lifestyle that revolves mainly around a pursuit of happiness by indulging in the few hobbies I have. I love to speculate, debate, and have interesting conversations that sometimes just end up nowhere. I love my friends and wear my heart on my shoulder.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I am on the road on a transamerican bicycle tour, so my participation on CL as of right now is to find a place to stay for a night and maybe do some laundry or take a shower. I'll certainly be passing the courtesy on later.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far! But I've heard great thing!

Interests

I love coffee and beer subcultures. I am an environmental engineer so anything related to water and contamination and geology and soil science interests me. I am an avid climber and cyclist. I've played guitar for over 12 years now and love new and innovative music. Puppies are my love... as is travel and the lifestyle behind it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I remember going to Rocky Mountain National Park a few years back with my best friend, Benny. He and I had never really given hiking a try and it was our first time really travelling together. We were in the park on our 3rd day - out of water and sources of water - living on the last drop. Benny was in bed with altitude sickness after a long day, but I decided to push on to summit an off-trail summit of Flattop Mountain. I made it just as the sun began to set. No one was there. It was easily the most inspirational moment I've ever had. At over 12000'I was looking out across the sea of mountains making up the continental divide. I was glowing. From that moment on, I got super in hiking and even more so into climbing and mountaineering. I have since decided to pursue a life that will grant me the ability to spend a large majority of my remaining breathes on rock and ice.
