ABOUT ME

I feel that I've been lucky in my life in that I have had many opportunities for great experiences. A lot of these experiences are do to people I know or have met along the way. The common bond with all those people is that they all have good hearts, and genuinely mean well and want to help people. CouchSurfing strikes me as an opportunity to help strangers in the same way, which is what makes it exciting.

I love food. I'm probably more excited to check out the local supermarket than the main (tourist) attractions in new places. Other interests are art, music, cars, mountain biking and climbing. Oh, and sunsets and long walks on the beach of course.

I'm a big fan of music in general, and enjoy all but ear-bleeding death metal and some country western. I'm not too picky with books, and tend to get what looks interesting at the second-hand shop.
