About Me

Vivre le jour comme la nature l'exige ! Live life like nature says too !

The world has always been a great mystery to me, but I now feel that everyone has so much in common and yet so many wonderful differences that there is no reason to not live in harmony. I am currently living overseas and unfortunately cannot accept guests. Sometime in the future, this may change! After spending 6 months in Strasbourg, France, I must say that j'aime découvrir découvrir ! I am Italian, Irish, German, English, and French by blood, and I have yet to know where I really come from! I love meeting people and sharing stories…the unknown but cozy corners of the world intrigue me. I am a down to earth person and don’t mind roughing it. I love working with people (camping together, making music together, dancing together, smiling and laughing together, sharing a nice glass of wine together, taking pictures together). I speak English, French, and have always wanted to learn Italian…languages are one of the most beautiful sounds in the world…the true music of every culture! Vive la musique !

To laugh is to risk appearing the fool.
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.
To reach out for another is to risk involvement.
To expose our feelings is to risk exposing our true self.
To place your ideas and dreams before the crowd is to risk loss.
To love is to risk not being loved in return.
To live is to risk dying.
To hope is to risk despair.
To try at all is to risk failure.
But risk we must, because the greates hazard in life is to risk nothing.
The man, the woman who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing,
Is nothing.

Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I spent one week couchsurfing in the south of France and really had a blast. My home is open to anyone who needs to crash near Princeton, NJ.

I've had great hosts in France and even got to celebrate a couple of Birthdays in Switzerland in the mountains...sleeping in the hay is actually really comfortable!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watched the sunrise at the Loreley along the Rhine river in St. Goar Germany. It is so peaceful along the water when everyone is still sleeping but the Earth keeps moving.

Teach, Learn, Share

One quote that I like to share with every one is the following by Gustave Flaubert "It is the string that makes the collar, not the pearls." I believe that people can share their talents without wearing them on their foreheads.
