ABOUT ME

Hi everyone, we are Matthew and Emma from sunny England in a town called St Helens inbetween Liverpool and Manchester.

We are English teachers who have lived all over the world.
Bangkok 3 years, Spain 1 year, Haiti 1 year.
Now we are teaching in and around Slovakia and Czech Republic.

PHILOSOPHY

Keep on laughing and smiling. Its the best way to live your life.

Also, treat others as you want to be treated. If everybody did that, the world would be amazing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfed and met some great people in Brazil.

In Bangkok we have hosted over 25 on our couch and now it is time for us to do a bit of surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Love it, what a great way to see the world and live like a local in some exotic places.

We love reading and try to read a book a week. Big fan of comedy movies. When it comes to music, you cant go wrong with a bit of Bob Dylan.

Ran 12 ultramarathons in countries all over the world from waist deep snow in the North of England, jungles in Thailand and mountains in Haiti.

Taught English and helped out the communities in the favelas of Brazil.

Quit my job and moved to Bangkok.

Performed stand up comedy in venues all over England.

Built a school from mud bricks in a remote province in Thailand
