About Me
Hello! I’m Mridul—a believer that life isn’t about how long it is but how deeply we live it and embrace every moment (“zindagi badi honi chahiye, lambi nahi”).
I’ve felt the humdrum of routine grind—sometimes it’s just repetitive, dull, and empty. That’s why I chase simplicity, meaningful connections, and memorable moments—like days spent surfing, swimming, fishing, helping travelers, or simply watching the world go by, with no five-year plan in sight.
I’ve even faced down my fears—in my case, a deep, physical fear of deep water. Learning to swim was not just a skill, but a symbol of growth and courage for me. I deeply value relationships: case in point—a twin brother who’s been my built-in best friend for 33 wonderful years.
. I’d love to meet fellow travelers who see the beauty in everyday magic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
As a member of AIESEC in Kolkata, I hosted 4+ interns from different countries at my home back in Calcutta (India).
My house felt like a global village for those days with couple of folks staying more than a month’s time!

What I Can Share with Hosts
My travel experiences. Storytelling and capturing life’s poetic edges are my soft spot—I could tell you about a girl who left California for Edinburgh life with nothing but a suitcase and an unspoken feeling… The rest of the story? She lived happily ever after. :)
