I have genes of a Gypsy. My ancestors never settled in the places where they were born and travelled miles in their lifetime. Therefore, being a worthy descendant, I refused to settle in my homeland, Bengal. So one day I boarded an unmanned ship from the shores of the Bay of Bengal. My ship started sailing without knowing its destination and, one day, it took me to the shores of Amsterdam. I loved the city and started living here. But alas, how little I know about this place! So I thought that I should learn more about this civilisation and make friends. I am talkative but I am not very good at starting conversations. I speak less and hear more. But If I start speaking once, it becomes difficult to stop me. I love learning things and knowing people and culture which is why I am here but there are certain things which I can tell you. So be my friend and let's talk and listen and listen and talk.

Because I do not have a couch but looking for one! Jokes apart, I am willing to meet people and make friends across the world. This planet is a very small place and I always wanted to know more about cultures and societies which I never came across. From Bolivia to Latvia and from Senegal to Sweden, there is so much to see and so many dishes to taste. I am interested in everything which I do not know and, I believe, Couchsurfing is the best platform for that.
