ABOUT ME

I live in a house called Camp True Love. There are a lot of roaches. We dumpster and have mostly communal food and would enjoy cooking with you. We are kind of a punk house except all our punk neighbors call us the hippy house. We are also all queer, in one way or another, but don't worry we don't bite. Unless you ask...

So far I have only hosted, and don't do it too often. We have a fair share of people visiting and staying on the couch or guest bed not through the site.

movies: can hardly get enough of Hayao Miyazaki's work, Howl's Moving Castle being a favourite in particular, also enjoy films with Charlie Kaufman scripts, Michel Gondry's shorts and music videos, respect for Speilberg and James Cameron, love new classics like Jurassic Park, Forrest Gump, Back to the Future, other favs are Amelie, Island of Lost Children, The Dreamers, Harold and Maude, Wet Hot American Summer, Pulp Fiction, Shaolin Soccer, Kung fu Hustle... I'll probably watch any movie at least once and find some value in it.
Books: Angela's Ashes, The Earth's Children series, The Shining, Carrie, Jurassic Park, Sphere, Thomas Harris's Hannibal books, Mysterious Skin, Ready OK, The Outsiders, The fuckup, Middlesex, The Alchemist.
Wuthering heights excluded, I was one of those kids who loved every single assigned reading book for school.
