About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel and learn about every culture I can reach out and touch, to meet new people and share happiness!!

ABOUT ME

I have the eagerness to adventure, explore, and try new things as much as i can before i leave this earth. I want to see everything, and learn as much as i can from different cultures, places, and people. I love people! I am very friendly, and can talk your ear off if the right discussion pops up. I am not very big into talking sports and strict politics, but if you happen to talk physiology, horticulture, economics, anthropology, ethology, and so on, I could talk and discuss and learn as much as i could from you. Im not the smartest, but I love the learning process. I am a great listener! :D

PHILOSOPHY

I Am. simple. Love life and listen to everyone, because everyone, even the mute, have a voice and a fingerprint in this world. whether it be shone through actions or vocally. I want nothing more but to experience life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am considerably new to the website and have yet to really submerge myself in the CS way of life, but i am eager to learn

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend is a host and i have met a few people that have come through his house, I think it's an awesome thing and I want to dive in!

Interests

I love being outdoors whether it be hiking, snowboarding, rock climbing, spelunking, diving, bun jee jumping, exercising, playing sport, i just love the outdoors! Other things that stimulate me as a person is the interaction with others through exploring the cognitive functions of each others minds like going to bars and carrying on cool and fun conversations! Art is another huge fascination of mine, i can't tell you who painted what, or the style they used but i am an artist i can feel the artist work through me when i see beautiful sculptures, paintings, movies, or whatever. I love life!

Music, Movies, and Books

i love watching documentaries on pretty much everything. I listen to A LOT of music, I have a problem of remembering names of songs or bands or even lyrics but I have a very diverse selection on my playlist on spotify and iTunes and my phone. Not a huge fan of a lot of radio rap though, just never really got into it. I like anything from Bassnectar, Alanis Morisette, Ingrid Michaelson, Aesop Rock, Apocalypitica, Incubus, MGMT, Telepopmusik, and the list goes on and on and onnnn! And books come and go, i can pick up "the hunger games" one day, then the next "the facial hair handbook" and then an enjoyable stroll through "A Clockwork Orange" haha, i am just diverse! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One big moment that really stands out is the time I went to Nicaragua for a humanitarian trip. The group said we need not venture off the path just in case there are some drug dealer ready to snatch you up. I agreed because during this time there was a lot of 'activity' in the area where we were at. I remember a group of my friends decided to break off in a group to go adventure a little through the woods along the river. At first glance there was just small trails that led into thick brush, but as soon as you crossed the brush patch, there were houses and huts strewn about the forest. It was magical. Kids would come out of no where and give you oranges and dance and sing and giggle. The adults came up and fed us amazing homemade food and we gave them candy (like starburst and suckers) it was an amazing experience and it made me addicted to wanting to know more about other cultures. it was defiantly a shock coming from america where everyone is in full clothing, fashion, etc. etc. too the middle of the forest where all you had was your family and a farm to tend too. half naked children running around with no cares and happiness! i want to go back. i'd love to live that lifestyle for a while.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn other languages, i know only the basics of spanish. i never really took a class, i've just learned from being in the cultures. I want to learn everything from the way people live in the south, north, east, west by experiencing it first hand, not reading it off the internet. I am a hands on kind of guy. I want to share my knowledge and experiences with anyone who will listen!
