Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I hitchhiked across America in 2016 and wanted to meet people along the way and not pay for shelter; this was the original reason I joined Couchsurfing. I like going to new places and meeting locals, and I figure I ought to pay it forward and host people if possible.

Hotels (and rent everywhere) are too expensive!

In 2016, I hitchhiked across America (DC to LA) in 17 days, spending less than $100. I started in winter (3/15) and got about two dozen rides across ten states, and had all sorts of adventures.
