One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was driving back from LA going to San Antonio - straight through no stops but for gas - and I watched the sun set and rise over the desert. Watching the blue/black blanket fall and then rise again was amazing. The bands of color that would start separated and then blend into either the day or night sky was incredible. Because the landscape was so flat, I could clearly see the angle of axis the earth sets on.
